Every ChronoAstra dial begins with a completely unique high-resolution star map generated specifically for your moment.
That file is then transformed into a custom engraved pad printing cliché created exclusively for your watch.
Unlike standard digital printing, pad printing is a process traditionally reserved for large production runs due to its complexity, setup time and cost.
It's the same printing method used by many of the world's finest watchmakers to apply logos, indices and ultra-fine dial details with exceptional precision.

YOUR SKY
We calculate the exact visible stars and constellation positions from your chosen location, date and time using astronomical data.
HIGH RESOLUTION MAPPING
Your sky is converted into a custom high-resolution vector file designed specifically for dial production.
CUSTOM CLICHÉ PRODUCTION
A dedicated engraving plate is created exclusively for your watch, allowing your exact constellation layout to be transferred with exceptional detail.
PAD PRINTING
Using precision pad printing technology, your constellation map is transferred onto the dial surface with micron-level accuracy.
BGW9 SUPER-LUMINOVA® APPLICATION
To make your stars glow at night, we apply BGW9 Super-LumiNova® in multiple stages.
INSPECTION & ASSEMBLY
Every dial is individually inspected under magnification before final assembly into your ChronoAstra timepiece.
THE BGW9 LUME APPLICATION PROCESS
We use BGW9 Swiss Super-LumiNova® for its exceptional brightness, stability and beautiful soft blue glow.
To achieve maximum depth and consistency, every dial receives four precise applications.
1 INITIAL PRINT
The star map is printed using high precision ink.
2 LUME APPLICATION 1
First layer of BGW9 Super-LumiNova® is applied.
3 LUME APPLICATION 2
Second layer for increased brightness and uniformity.
4 LUME APPLICATION 3
Third layer for depth and consistency.
FINAL RESULT
The finished dial glows with exceptional intensity and longevity.
